Nancy Osborne
Hot Swing,Cool Jazz|Self Published

Hot, Hot, Hot, Cool, Cool, Cool and Swing, Swing Swing...Nancy Osborne has the right ingredients that add up to spicy textures, on target pitch and just pure fun. So many releases in jazz spend an absorbent amount of time trying to be complex, over-thoughtout, and so technical that the general populous cannot begin to understand the message. Osborne's message is loud and clear on Hot Swing, Cool Jazz you feel your whole body becoming a part of the experience. Not only is Osborne infectious but her vocal delivery is superbly rich in tone and delivery.
Osborne is back by a plethora of seasoned professionals that make this recipe "De-Lovely."

Hailing from Maysville, Kentucky, also birthplace of Rosemary Clooney, at 17 Nancy started her professional career singing with the Young Americans, she then toured nationwide in such shows as Lil Abner, Cabaret, Gypsy, and My Fair Lady. For many years Nancy worked for Walt Disney Productions, performing with the Kids of the Kingdom, and starring as the sassy "Slue Foot Sue" in the Golden Horseshoe Revue. Nancy's New York cabaret sister act Birds of a Feather in October of 2005 received rave reviews, and resulted in the invitation to be one of the opening acts in the National Cabaret Convention in Chicago at the Palmer House Empire Room, March 2006.

Osborne is a Big Band vocalist with panache, style and vocal abilities far beyond many of her piers and Hot Swing, Cool Jazz would be a welcome edition to any connoisseurs collection.
